As the season closes fast it’s time for some house keeping:) Final Scramble is set for tonight, Thursday August 27th. And of course the weather is suspect:( Looking through the Overall Standings, I see 11 matches missing scores. I will tally them as 9-9 splits unless I hear differently from the players involved. Please check over the standings to see if you are one of the missing.
Shootout will take place on Thursday Sept 3rd. Shootout format will be the same as last year, with the highest score and ties on the hole being sent to the gallery. Someone will be eliminated on every hole. The pool of players will grow this year to include the top players from each of the 6 flights, followed by the next highest 12 players from the overall standings.
The League Banquet will take place Thursday Sept 10th at 6pm. Roast Turkey dinner will be served and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 Teams, top 3 Overall players and our Shootout Champion!
Thank you all for participating and making Thursday nights at the BCC a special place to be all summer! 72 players with handicaps ranging from 5 to 35 provided exciting play and humorous tales in the Tavern!
